1. Service
FawtaraX provides software-as-a-service for issuing, clearing, archiving, and receiving electronic invoices in compliance with Oman Tax Authority (OTA) Fawtara requirements.
2. Eligibility
The Customer must be a legal entity registered in the Sultanate of Oman with a valid VAT registration or CR number.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate company, VAT and tax-card information.
- Maintain confidentiality of credentials and API keys.
- Ensure invoice content is accurate and lawful.
4. Compliance & retention
FawtaraX retains cleared invoices for the OTA-mandated 10-year period and provides export on demand.
5. Fees
Subscription fees are billed in OMR according to the plan selected. VAT is added where applicable.
6. Service levels
Target monthly uptime: 99.5%. Status: /status.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend service for non-payment, abuse, or regulatory cause. The Customer may terminate at any time; archived invoices remain accessible for the retention period.
8. Liability
Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months, except for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or breach of confidentiality.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Disputes are subject to the courts of Muscat.
